Service Repair Position

A&M Tile and Plastering is a family owned swimming pool plastering company located in Irving, TX. We are looking for a friendly and self-motivated individual to join our team as a repair/service technician. This is a full-time position with competitive pay. Due to the nature of the industry, late spring to early fall will consist of 45+ hour work week. While late fall to early spring will consist of 35+ hour work week.

Responsibilities

Perform leak detection (bucket test, underwater dye test, etc.)
Plaster patch-work (underwater and/or dry plaster surface)
Handling muriatic acid and other chemicals to remove stains from plaster surface
Handling of power tools (saw, polisher, buffer, etc.)
Use of swimming pool equipment as required
Set Coping Stone or Tile for Swimming Pools

Requirements

Have a valid driver’s license
General knowledge of swimming pool construction
Must be able to lift-up to 60 lbs.
General knowledge of swimming pool equipment
Honesty and integrity is a must
Able to work effectively and efficiently while unsupervised
Great communication skills
Ability to swim
Knowledge in leak detection preferred
